Release Notes - December 2025

The following new features were added to the JobSiteForecast application recently.

Weekly Work Plan

We have added a calendar lookup so you can view entries previously made.

Multiple Company Codes

The system related to handling multi company codes was expanded to all modules except time cards.

Job Labor/Cost Screens

Calculations related to new timecards are normally held until users start making updates.  This is to avoid the data changing unnecessarily throughout the week.  A warning was added to show when timecard calculations were pending.  Clicking RECALC will update all the calculations.  This is useful when doing monthly projections.

Cost Variance Highlighting

When there is a difference between the ERP projection cost and the JSF projected cost we highlight the JSF projection in yellow so you can easily see variances.  The highlighting was set so when the numbers were different by more than $10.  This is now configurable.

To adjust this configuration go to Setup | Company Setup | General Setup
"Highlight JSF Projected Cost when the Projected Cost variance exceeds" you can set the allowable variance for the Job Screen and the Summary Screen separately.

This is to avoid unnecessary highlighting when differences are small.

Workforce Planning

We added filters on the right side of the timeline schedules.

In the Project Timeline you can now filter by any of the job parameters:  Type (Job or WO), Company Code, Division, PM, Cost Center, City, State.

In the Resource Timeline you can filter by any of the resource parameters:  Name, Type, Union Code, Trade, Occupation, Skill, Title.

Time Entry Crew Setup

We have improved the method to Add Employees to a Crew.  Now you can see a list of all the employees, sort, filter by Union and Department, then select employees all at once from the list.  This will make crew management much easier.

Job Time Entry

We have added a filter to show all timecards for a particular job.
Previously a user can only see the timecards they entered.  This option lets them see all the timecards for a job.
To use this feature click the checkbox "View all timecards for one job".  Select the job.  Users can only see jobs they have permission to.
To return to their own timecards uncheck the selection.
