Master Phase Code Screen

Master Phase Code Screen

Before setting up this screen, you need to first setup the MASTER CATEGORY SETUP screen.

This setup screen is designed to break the phase code into segments, and then assign descriptions to the codes inside each segment.

Example: Phase Code Structure for a 9 Character code

Segment
Start
Length
Category
Job Specific

Office/Shop/Field

3
3

Area

This allows me now to assign descriptions to all the segment codes.

For instance the TRADE code may be
1=General (No trade)
4=Sheet Metal
5=Mechanical
etc.

Office/Shop/Field might be:
1=Office
2=Shop
3=Field

Area codes might be:

etc

Level codes might be:
(In the example these can be job specific so you can edit the descriptions or add codes to the list on the right)
S01=Sub Level 1

etc
